Where have all the years gone?

Some years ago, you were ready to run

Never thought that the course was a maze

And plans and dreams are unending chase


You never really knew what you wanted

But you have a good idea of what you need

You have planned your life for a destination

But the map keeps on changing directions


Will you ever know what to look for?

When everything seems like the way it was before

You have always played it safe

Is it that miserable to make a mistake?


One day you will end up regretting

The other road that you have not taken

Because you were afraid to disappoint

Since everyone expects you to be on point


Or are you just blaming the others?

For your indecision and lack of courage?

Your fond of justifying your actions

Because you’d rather be safe than make the bold decisions


Truth is, you’re just scared of what might happen

The comfort you’re in cannot be ruined

Your good but sometimes it’s sad and boring

It’s more exciting to live the life you’ve been dreaming


I hope when your brave enough to take the plunge

The life you want welcomes you with open arms

How many times have you blamed yourself for things gone wrong? Plans going south? And goals remaining unmet? Often, you see yourself at a standstill, feeling like you are not getting anywhere in life. Yes, it is often disappointing to see how much you have given and yet you are still far off from your dreams. In fact, you will often feel that what you want are moving away from you, and perhaps, they are not meant for you. But these thoughts are just that, thoughts, they are not your reality, so get easy on yourself. What you feel is valid, but it is temporary: All of us feel that way sometimes, and it is important to recognize those feelings. Be Optimistic

Often, it is difficult to be optimistic because of all the drama around you. Lalo na pag may mga taong gusto kang makitang malungkot. However, it is not impossible especially if you have something to look forward to. Here are some tips: 1. Always keep your goal in mind. Mas maganda kung may short term goal ka para mas nakakaexcite isipin. Halimbawa, nag-iipnon ka para sa bagong laptop. Dahil may pinag-iipunann ka, kakayanin mo kahit anong hirap ng trabaho . 2. This too shall pass. Natutunan ko to sa teacher ko nung college. Oo nga naman, kahit anong badtrip mo ngayon, lilipas din yan. Kung naiinis ka, tingnan mo na lang ang orasan. Tumatakbo ang oras di ba, ibig sabihin, kelangan mo itong sabayan. Do not dwell on negativity.
