When your heart is broken, you feel alone. It is as if all the happiness you felt from before have gone. For most, this can be one of the most painful things they have to endure. Broken hearts have a different way of testing your strength. It is difficult, for you have to deal with emotions. You can talk to your friends all day about it, but the pain will never go away. So how will you deal with it? Years have taught me that no one knows your feelings better than you do. Many will say they understand because they went through the same thing. But no one will actually feel the pain for you (except for your mom, maybe). This is why you have to take matters into your own hands. Many of us are so caught up with work that we fail to spend valuable time with the people who truly matter to us. One of the reasons for this is unorganized workloads. If only we have managed our tasks better, we will have a balanced time for both our careers and personal lives. If you want to have enough time for your friends and family, then here are some of the tips you can follow: 1.       List the things you need to do. Before starting your day, enumerate the tasks that need to be accomplished for the day. After listing everything, prioritize them by organizing the list. The most urgent should be on the top of your list. The least important task must be at the bottom. This will not only remind you of the things you need to complete, but this will also help you track your progress later in the day. 2.       Allocate enough time to complete the tasks. I don’t know a lot about cosplaying but I was really amazed by the time and effort that cospalyers put into their costumes when I accompanied my cousin at the Mindanao Cosplay Summit (MCS) 2012 held at SM City Davao last October 27-28, 2012. I was able to witness the final day of the event. Aside from the registered participants, there were more than 200 walk in cosplayers who joined in during the final day. I am a hopeless romantic. Let’s have that out of the way before you continue reading this blog. Remember when you were a child and a song plays on the radio? You sing the song without really understanding it judge them by their melody. If you don’t, well I do. One of the songs I remember was You Don’t Love Me Anymore by Weird Al Yankovic. It is a sad song, a very sad song with a very sad melody. Back then, I could only hear its chorus clearly which states, got a funny feeling, you don’t love me anymore.  But when you start to listen carefully to the song and its lyrics, which I’m sure most of you did, your jaw would start to drop, then cover your open mouth, slowly close it and smile. Last Sunday, Aiza Seguirra sang one of the most heartbreaking classics of all time –at least in my opinion. She sang I won’t Hold You Back by Toto. The original rendition is very good but I prefer the sessionanista’s version. There is something about Aiza’s voice that will make a sad song even sadder (sniff).
